Joni believes that the practice of yoga and meditation will assist every individual in taking responsibility for their own health and well-being.

Joni was first introduced to meditation in Boulder, Colorado in 1984 and trained with master herbalist, Hanna Kroeger studying nutrition, herbs, natural healing and the study of the chakras. She received her 200-hour certification in 2005 and is a registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. In 2011 Joni received her Meditation Certification from the Integral Yoga Institute. Joni continues to broaden her knowledge of Yoga by receiving her certifications to teach Children’s Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Private Yoga Lessons and Meditation Lessons.

Teaching individuals the techniques of being mindful in their every day lives and using meditation to reduce stress and anxiety and regain a sense of calm and peace is what Joni loves to share. She continues to advocate for more trained and certified yoga teachers as director of the Yoga Teacher Training of Central Florida, a registered school with the Yoga Alliance since 2004.
