Whether you strive to become a Yoga teacher or would like to deepen your own practice, we invite you to experience the life-changing effects of this ancient practice and immerse yourself in a non-dogmatic training in traditional Hatha Yoga with an Integral Yoga influence.

Certified by Yoga Alliance, the 200-hour Hatha Yoga Instructor Training offers participants an in-depth understanding of Yoga as it has evolved over the years and as it is being taught today. In its seventh year, the teacher training program presents one of the most thorough and comprehensive trainings around, graduating over 100 teachers. Upon completion of this certification program you are eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance to become a registered yoga teacher (RYT).
THIS COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAM COVERS:
- Intensive study of Asana (postures) and modifications for the Level 1 student
- Pranayama (breathing practices)
- Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation)
- Meditation Techniques and Methods
- Principles of the Yogic Lifestyle and Diet
- Beginners Anatomy and Physiology specific to Hatha Yoga,
- Study and exploration of the chakras and koshas
- Mini-course on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (Yoga philosophy)
- Hands-on adjustments and sequencing
- The Business of Yoga

Requirements
Committed students of Yoga who are genuinely interested in expanding their knowledge and understanding of Yoga and have a minimum of one year of a solid Yoga practice. If you have less than one year of experience, please contact us for individual approval by setting up an interview. This training can be taken with the goal of teaching Yoga, or to deepen your personal Yoga practice without the intention of teaching.
Tuition
$2500 for comprehensive 200-hour Hatha Yoga training, certified by the Yoga Alliance.
$500 non-refundable deposit due after your application has been received and you have been accepted.
$200 Discount – Pay $2,300 by December 31, 2011.
The full tuition must be paid before the first session or a payment plan can be arranged with a 5% service fee, which is granted on an individual basis. Tuition does not include the required text books or yoga mat.
Process
If you are not currently taking Hatha Level 1 yoga classes, we invite you to take a complimentary class so that you can experience the class that you will be learning to teach. Please contact us so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
Return the completed Application Form as soon as possible, so that you can be accepted into the program. Once you have been accepted into the program, you may place your non-refundable deposit to secure your space.
